Birks, a Canadian manufacturer and retailer, will showcase a 10 ct. fancy light purplish pink radiant cut diamond, one of the world’s largest pink diamonds, at its Edmonton, Alberta location April 13–17.
The rare diamond was mined in South Africa from a 21.35 ct. stone and has been set in a platinum ring.
“We are very excited to be showcasing one of the world’s largest pink diamonds ever mined, which highlights Birks’ authority in precious gemstones and gives us a chance to offer a truly unique experience to our clients,” Deborah Nicodemus, executive vice president and chief merchandising and marketing officer of Birks and Mayors, said in a statement.
