You know what, I didn’t come here to play it cool. When I see fine jewelry I like, it’s more my style to gush and gasp. Whatever the opposite of blasé is, that’s me.
I just previewed a bunch of jewels headed to the JCK shows, and this post gathers the ones that wowed me on some level, the ones that have now jumped straight to the top of my list. Not a wish list like my colleague (and new mama for the second time as of this week!) Brittany Siminitz served up yesterday, but more like a “I cannot wait to see these pieces in person” list.
So deep breath. Here we go. A list of the jewels I’m stanning for as I make decisions about who and what to see at the shows.

This limited-edition ring, because it’s so perfectly Christmas and I just want to feel the luxurious texture of all those beautifully set stones.
These diamond half hoops, as intricate as snowflakes. I’d wear them with a fluffy white angora sweater and a lipstick shade from my youth, Revlon Silver City pink.

This glamorous bracelet stack that has Succession season 2 finale superyacht vibes—I’m seeing white linen, a wide-brimmed hat, Veuve Clicquot in a Baccarat flute, Cousin Greg giving me side-eye…
