Former Mercury Ring president Jeffrey Bergman (pictured) has joined Overnight Mountings as its national accounts manager.
Bergman worked at Mercury Ring for more than 20 years, alongside his mother Phyllis, who served as its chief executive officer. According to LinkedIn, he left the company in January, four months after his mother left to start a consulting firm. Mercury Ring, a division of Unique Designs Inc./Kiran USA, is now headed by Michael Harris.
Prior to working at Mercury Ring, Bergman was the controller at jewelry company Clover Corp.
Bergman received an MBA from New York University. He is also the treasurer and a board member of the 24 Karat Club of the City of New York, a member of the American Gem Society, and a former member of the vendor advisory board of the Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO).
Jeff Adwar, president and CEO of Overnight Mountings, said in a statement that “the entire team at Overnight is looking forward to working closely with Jeffrey Bergman. His experience and expertise will be a welcome addition to our already talented team. His customer focus perfectly aligns with Overnight’s philosophy of doing whatever it takes to help our customers succeed.”
