The Antwerp World Diamond Centre’s (AWDC) board of directors has unanimously selected Isidore Mörsel, CEO of Dali Diamond Company, as its new president.
He replaces David Gotlib, who resigned from the board in September.
Mörsel was on the AWDC board from 2008 to 2012, then rejoined it in 2020. Dali Diamond is a third-generation company known for its vertically integrated operations.
Talia Pruwer of Espeka will take Gotlib’s seat on the AWDC board, as representative of the trade. Sahag Arslanian, director of Arslanian Group, and Amish Jain, director of N.N. Diamonds, will continue to serve as board vice presidents.
Goltlib remains chair of Antwerp Beurs Voor Diamanthandel.
