Authentic Brands Group—the New York City–based licensing conglomerate—has appointed Kevin Wills chief financial officer.
Wills most recently served as chief financial officer and member of the executive committee at Pilot Company, the travel center operator.
Prior to Pilot, Wills worked as CFO for Tapestry Inc., parent company of Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman. He also spent 16 years at Saks Inc., where he held various financial leadership positions. Before that, he was managing director and CFO at consulting firm AlixPartners.
Willis is based in Authentic’s headquarters and reports directly to founder, chairman, and CEO Jamie Salter.
Among Authentic Brands’ stable of licenses: Elvis Presley, Brooks Brothers, Forever 21, Judith Leiber, and jewelry designer Neil Lane. In 2021, the company filed to go public, and then decided not to, with Salter saying he’d rather stay private.
