Patrick Ottomani (pictured) became the new CEO of Audemars Piguet North America, effective April 8.
He will be based in the company’s New York City office.
Ottomani replaces Antonio Seward, a brand veteran who served in the role since 2017. It was not clear at press time if Seward was still with the brand.
In 1993, Ottomani became CEO of leather menswear brand Berluti. That year it was acquired by LVMH. He later served as managing director of Berluti USA, launching the brand in the United States in 2005. He left the company last year.
In his new role, he reports to Yves Meylan, the company’s Switzerland-based chief commercial officer.
“After many years spent at a brand considered a leader in its category, I am very happy to join a family-owned company with an equally respected reputation,” said Ottomani in a statement. “Joining the team is not only an honor, but also presents a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a family.”
