The Atlanta Jewelry Show had announced that it had moved its fall show to October.
It will now take Oct. 24–25 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, with a preshow conference on Oct. 23. It was originally scheduled for Aug. 8–10.
This fall edition of the twice-yearly show will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, the jewelry-rep organization that sponsors the show.
“After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, the new show dates will enable us to provide the experience that our attendees expect and deserve in a safe environment,” said executive director Libby Brown in a statement. “As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the community comes together and connects. This date shift offers the perfect opportunity for retailers to stock up for the holidays. We look forward to hosting a wonderful event. Until then, stay safe and healthy.”
