Chicago-based jewelry company Artistry Ltd. has launched a new brand of jewelry inspired by mid-century modern design. The brand is called Graymoor Lane Designs and will debut at LUXURY by JCK in Las Vegas, June 2 to June 8. Artistry founder and owner Laura Klemt and her daughter, Susan Klemt Williams, vice president, have a deep connection to mid-century design. Laura’s childhood home was designed by Edward Humrich, a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright. The same spare lines typical of mid-century architecture are present in Graymoor Lane Designs. “Together with my daughter, Susan, it is my great joy to launch a collection as close to my heart as Graymoor Lane,” Laura said. “Not only does it celebrate mid-century design, it is an homage to our family history and to my mother Eleanor Gray Lieberman. She instilled in us a deep appreciation of the understated and timeless elegance of mid-century design.” There are four themes within the debut collection (which includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings with diamonds and gemstones in 14k white, rose and yellow gold): Juniper, Solstice, Cypress, and Bloom. Suggested retail prices range from $300 to $3,000.
