As a part of her 20×20 series—20 collaborations with 20 women, in honor of her 20th year in business—designer Zoë Chicco has brought forth many excellent pairings. There’s her dreamy partnership with Jungalow’s Justina Blakeney; her chic venture with fashion designer Rachel Pally; her inspiring work with I Am a Voter founder Mandana Dayani; and her very relevant collaboration with epidemiologist Jessica Malaty-Rivera, to name just a few. (Proceeds from each partnership benefit a specific cause, too.)
For her latest collaboration—number 8 in the series—Chicco has partnered with Hatch founder and CEO Ariane Goldman. Hatch is a line of maternity clothes designed to fit through all four trimesters (the fourth being post-pregnancy life) and beyond, and it seems like the perfect pairing for a piece to honor moms and moms-to-be, especially just in time for Mother’s Day.
The collaboration has resulted in a gorgeous charm bracelet. “This piece is a constant reminder every day of the love and beauty of motherhood,” Goldman is quoted as saying on Chicco’s site. “It’s something that makes you smile, but also makes you feel pretty.”
Never underestimate the power of making a new or young mother feel pretty—or mother of any age, really. But when someone’s in the throes of newborn nation, or chasing a toddler with sticky hands, a little something polished goes a long way toward making that caretaker feel just a bit brighter (even if their shirt hasn’t been changed in three days or has remnants of spit-up on it). Which is why a brand like Hatch is so ideal for the partnership—making new moms and moms-to-be feel beautiful is a big part of its MO.
With large oval links, the bracelet is a fabulous starter piece for anyone’s charm collection, though shoppers may opt to purchase the two charms separately as well as in a set. The charms are a large (21 mm) heart engraved with the word Mama and pavé-set with diamonds, and an evil eye medallion-style piece dotted with dreamy blue sapphires and encircled in pavé diamonds.
The pieces are pictured in 14k yellow gold, but are available in white or rose gold as well. The jeweler’s site also shows the charms nestled with additional charms on a different chain, showing how they can be styled individually.
All proceeds from the sale of these pieces go to Every Mother Counts, an organization dedicated to improving access to maternity care around the world.
