Hindman Auctions has appointed April Matteini (pictured) as a specialist for jewelry and timepieces, based in its Palm Beach, Fla., office.
A Graduate Gemologist, Matteini has more than 25 years of jewelry appraisal and auction house experience.
Prior to joining Hindman, Matteini served as Bonhams vice president for the Florida region and as regional director for Skinner. In these roles, she expanded the companies’ presence in Florida.
Hindman’s director of jewelry and timepieces Sally Klarr said in a statement, “We are looking forward to connecting more Florida-area clients with April.”
Hindman conducts more than 100 auctions annually and appraises thousands of objects throughout the year, in addition to handling major single-owner collections.
