Alex and Ani founder and CEO Carolyn Rafaelian has landed on the cover of Forbes, part of an issue that pays tribute to the “World’s Richest Self-Made Women.”
An accompanying article says that Alex and Ani earned $500 million last year.
It also calls the 50-year-old Rafaelian “the bangle billionaire,” with an 80 percent stake in her $1.2 billion company. She ranks 18th on the list of self-made women, with a net worth of $1 billion.
