The American Gem Society’s 2011 Conclave will feature two keynote speakers from
the business world, best-selling author Daniel H. Pink, author of Drive: The
Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us, and Tony Hsieh, chief executive
officer of online retailer Zappos.com and the author of Delivering Happiness: A
Path to Profit, Passion and Purpose.
Pink’s opening keynote session April 27 will focus on the principals and
strategies found in his book, including three elements of motivation—autonomy,
mastery, and purpose. Hsieh will deliver the April 29 keynote and discuss customer service for the
entire company.
