Adam Fried, an industry veteran who has worked for many notable manufacturers and retailers, has been appointed director of retail at IDD Luxe, a New York City–based diamond company.

In his new position, which he began on Monday, Fried will work with both new and existing accounts and be involved in all aspects of IDD’s retailer relationships, including product development, marketing, and training, said CEO Alok Mehta in a statement.

Fried formerly was director of sales development for A. Link, vice president of development at C.D. Peacock, corporate director of retail sales training for Hyde Park Jewelers, and global trainer at Hearts on Fire.
