The 92nd Street Y’s Jewelry Center is accepting applications through March 31 for its Jewelry Artist Residency.
Open to both emerging and established artists, the residency runs from Aug. 15 through Sept. 15, 2024. The artist-in-residence has access to a 24-hour private studio and the opportunity to share their work with the New York City design community at meetings with professionals from local cultural institutions and through a two-day workshop at the Jewelry Center during the final weekend. The residency also covers studio apartment accommodations at the 92NY Residence and travel to and from New York.
Application guidelines, including a link to apply, can be found here. Winners are generally notified by mid-April.
Previous recipients of the the residency, now in its sixth year, are Sungho Cho (2023), Alexander Blank (2022), Claudia Lepik (2019), Ineke Heerkens (2018), and Göran Kling (2017).
