Beyoncé and Bad Gal Riri may have taken home the physical awards at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28 in New York City, but Lorraine Schwartz takes the top prize for best jewelry. The jeweler to the stars is responsible for my five favorite jewelry looks. Here they are, in no particular order.

Beyoncé was a big winner for “Formation” (Best Video of the Year and Best Pop Video) and “Hold Up” (Best Female Video) as well as five others, but these emerald, Paraiba tourmaline, and diamond earrings should have taken home a prize for best bling.
