The first annual JCK Tucson jewelry show came and went earlier this month in a glittering rush, and although I was not in attendance, I have the exhibitors to thank for making me feel like I was. With plenty of stories to share and great reviews to boot, it sounds like those attending made it worthwile, with new retailers to add to their rosters and a fresh vantage point on exhibiting in Tucson. I asked 24 exhibitors to share what they thought really stole the spotlight during our first year in Tucson. Whether you made it to desert, you can learn more about each of these pieces and contact their creators to get them into your store—just click each of your favorites. “The Fluted Tears earrings were very well received among retailers not only for the three-dimensional design and play on reflection against texture, but for the appealing price point. This is the start of something big for ESJ in response to very sellable designer jewlery throughout a variety of stores.” —Erik Stewart

“Most everyone was asking us about our unique bands, especially this one: in 18k yellow gold, featuring our signature fern finish and 0.15 ct. colorless diamonds. One retailer had remarked how it visually reminded him of throwing rocks into a pond and the ripples that radiate outward. It’s a wonderful model, being uniquely beautiful as well as versatile and wearable for every day, as the rails keep the intricacies of the design well protected.” —Sholdt

“We introduced color at the show. In all our 14 years in business people have never seen color in our jewelry before, so it was quite a surprise for everyone! Our best-selling item has always been stacking rings, and while we added color to a few other pieces of jewelry, it was the colored stones in our stacking rings that people were most excited about. It gave my stores a really easy way to bring home something new for their clients that they know will be a hit!” —Sarah Graham
