As to be expected, there was no shortage of decadent, delicious jewels at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. An obvious trend in Grammys jewelry was the statement necklace. Whether layered or through sheer volume, the necklaces communicated the same overarching sentiment: More is more. Here are some of the top stars and their stones at the show.
Taylor Swift in Lorraine Schwartz
In addition to becoming the first artist to win Album of the Year four times, Taylor Swift made headlines at the Grammys for donning a rare type of jewelry: the watch choker. Her art deco–style piece, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, features a black diamond band, with white diamonds on the watch bezel. The vintage Concord watch was set to 12 o’clock, a reference to Swift’s album Midnights. Other diamond strands designed by Schwartz hung below the choker, complementing the superstar’s white custom Schiaparelli gown and black opera gloves.
Victoria Monét in Bulgari
It was a big night for Victoria Monét, who received seven nominations for her debut studio album Jaguar II and won three awards, including Best New Artist. And her jewels did it justice: She wore a Bulgari Serpenti necklace in pink gold, adorned with diamonds and two pear-shape emeralds. Monét kept the rest of her look streamlined and sophisticated—a strapless brown silk Atelier Versace gown—giving her necklace the attention it deserved.
Dua Lipa in Tiffany & Co.
Three-time Grammy winner Dua Lipa walked the red carpet with a gorgeous piece from the 2023 Tiffany Blue Book Collection around her neck. Depicting two fish kissing, the platinum and 18k yellow gold necklace boasts a 23+ ct. unenhanced orange sapphire, unenhanced Umba and padparadscha sapphires, orange sapphires, rubellites, and diamonds. She wore it with a custom silver-scaled Courrèges gown.
Celine Dion in Tiffany & Co.
While surprise presenter Celine Dion was relatively pared-back in her clothing (an oversize mohair coat and pale wrap dress by Valentino), she did not hold back when it came to her jewels. The singer wore a massive diamond statement necklace by Tiffany & Co., as well as platinum diamond earrings, a Tiffany Edge bracelet, and multiple diamond rings—for sparkle that only a legend like Dion could outshine.
Doja Cat in Loree Rodkin
Nominated for three awards, including Best Rap Song and Best Pop Solo Performance, Doja Cat also was a top contender for memorable jewels. The “Paint the Town Red” singer wore diamond cross necklaces, along with embellished dagger earrings and an assortment of rings, all by Loree Rodkin.
