While there were no visible signs of a celebration—balloons, streamers, etcetera—in Marco Bicego’s booth at last week’s VicenzaOro First fair, the designer’s press kit did trumpet some important news: the company’s 10-year anniversary.
To mark the occasion, Bicego unveiled a special bracelet in the style of pieces from Goa, a best-selling collection featuring minimalist designs inspired by the pristine white beaches of Goa, India. The 10Y Celebration bracelet features 30 strands of 18k white gold weighing 110 grams and 100 rose-cut diamonds weighing 0.10 ct. each (totaling 10 carats). This one piece is available for purchase for $60,000, and the artist himself has been shopping it around to top clients in Canada and the U.S. (Miami, Boston, Cincinnati, and more) for the past two months.
