At the company, Sedlacek will represent its mined and laboratory-grown diamond collections, which it sells both loose and unmounted.
Sedlacek’s experience includes stints as retail operation director at Gabriel & Co; president of sales and business development at ALTR, another lab-grown diamond company; and vice president of merchandising at Reeds Jewelers. He has also worked for HRA Group, Rolex USA, and Ben Bridge Jewelers.
“Transparency and full disclosure are vital to the fine jewelry business,” said Sedlacek in a statement. “Full compliance with and support of RJC policies and procedures is vital to the continued growth of the fine jewelry business.”
Goldiam USA is participating in SCS Global Services’ pilot program that will certify certain lab-grown diamonds as sustainably grown.
Parent company Goldiam also produces lab-grown diamonds. It is a leading Indian manufacturer with several facilities in SEEPZ, the special economic zone in Mumbai, India.
