Trend No. 11: Whimsical Color Combinations
The question is: Why choose just one color when you can have them all? Last week I was excited to share a roundup of jewels in pink, red, and purple combinations, and if you loved that trio as much as me, you may just be interested in these: jewels with bright and cheery rainbows of stones, combining shades of warm and cool for one fully electric final result. While I’m a huge fan of color trends and enjoy changing it up, the best thing about multicolor jewels—those that combine at least three different hues—is their potential to become lasting classics. You don’t have to worry about them clashing with the Color of the Year, whether it’s 2015 or 2027, because they possess a collection of complementary shades that pair well with most of Pantone’s choices. And finally—not that we need another reason to revel in rainbows—how cheery does it make you feel to see such a collective burst of color?
