This fall, JIS, along with Reed Exhibitions, is adding a stop in San Diego. The new show, JIS Delivery–San Diego, will take place Nov. 2–4, 2019, at the San Diego Convention Center in California. Attendees of the West Coast event will be able to purchase wholesale goods for immediate delivery just in time for the busy holiday season.

The trade-only event will see JIS’ popular cash-and-carry format, along with direct order-writing for immediate inventory. This allows for all of those last-minute items to get in stock right before the holiday shoppers start visiting stores.

“The JIS shows are known for their perfect timing based around the needs of the modern jewelry retailer, catering to unique buying markets, and the opportunity to buy at the wholesale level right on the show floor,” said Jordan Tuchband, industry vice president of JIS Shows, in a press release. “The western USA represents a huge part of the jewelry industry, but many of these retailers have had to fly across the country to attend any of the shows in the fall. After directly speaking with  a large volume of retailers west of the Mississippi River, it became apparent that there was not only a need, but a genuine desire by jewelers to have a buying event located in an affordable, easy-to-get location, at the right time, on the West Coast.”

The show’s location at the San Diego Convention Center puts it in close proximity to all that downtown San Diego has to offer, including hotels, restaurants, tourist sites, and more.
