New York City–based jewelry firm Jade Trau lets Victorian design archives inspire its newest looks.
The new Forget-Me-Not collection in 14k yellow and white gold with diamonds features upwards of 25 SKUs inspired by vintage Victorian jewelry.
“Our latest collection is an ode to the lockets, slide charms, and symbols of a bygone era,” explains Jade Lustig, the force behind the line. “Pieces let you wear your most treasured memories, like pictures and scents tucked away in tiny orb lockets.”
While birds are one evident motif, styles include lockets with multiple photo folds—tiny screens of sorts—long earrings that transform into studs and vessels for containing perfume, a handy accessory to have in Manhattan as the weather warms and city odors compete with more pleasant smells. “These are curios designed for the modern woman,” she adds.
Retail prices start at $685, and the line ships to stores in late July. Buy-in for retailers starts at $15,000. See the styles in person at Couture in Designer Atelier booth no. 10.
