Alrosa just unearthed a 78.02 ct. stone valued at $600,000 at its Mir pipe—the company’s second significant find this month. 

The diamond’s dimensions are 28.5 ? 28.4 ? 24.2 mm. This crystal has a regular shape with small inclusions. The stone is transparent with yellowish and greenish hue. 

The Russian diamond producer believes this diamond could be valued at more than $600,000 if put up for auction.

Earlier this month, Alrosa found a 76.07 ct. diamond that it estimates to be worth $430,000.
