French diamond jewelry house Djula unveiled its first U.S. boutique at 922 Madison Avenue in New York City on Aug. 17.
The 21-year-old Paris-based jeweler is known for its lacy 18k gold-and-diamond looks. Founder Alexandre Corrot has been setting up wholesale accounts in the United States since 2012, and to date has 80 accounts worldwide.
Corrot’s new store aims to better tell the brand’s story through Roaring ’20s– and Art Deco–inspired aesthetics and plenty of dark-and-light color combinations in the jewelry, with the occasional pop of a rainbow-hued gemstone.
