Makur’s love of pink gold and morganite gets a touch more dramatic in its new Mixed Metal collection.

Featuring Argentium silver overlaid with black rhodium and a ceramic coating, rose gold, and diamonds, classic-looking styles have a decidedly more modern feel. More than 200 SKUs are available in 14k gold with silver at retail prices starting at $100.

“The inspiration for this collection stems from the success of our rose gold,” explains Arlene Hagopian, co-owner of the New York City–based manufacturer. “The silver with black rhodium creates a resistance to tarnish that when combined with rose gold and embellished with diamonds is a rich, sultry, fresh, new look. We are seeing more designers use silver, so we wanted to highlight the use of Argentium silver with our collections.”
