The name Lori is more than a pretty moniker for women—Lori is also the name of a lush province in Armenia, the home country of the Karaguezian family. Father Kirk, mother Lucy, and daughters Grace and Angela run bridal jewelery-maker Kirk Kara, now in its 125th year of operation. To commemorate the occasion, the Karaguezians debuted the Lori collection of commitment rings and bands at the 2015 JCK Las Vegas show.
“Lori is a love letter to Kirk Kara’s Armenian roots,” explain the sisters in an email interview. “Lori is a sophisticated collection that proudly bears the name of a lush province in Armenia, and these detailed engagement rings are inspired by old world Armenian carvings, patterns, and art with a nod to refined Art Deco style.”
Some 15 SKUs total exist to date, and pieces are made in 18k gold and platinum. Diamonds accent most, and all rings are customizable to accommodate center stones of any size. Pieces are shipping now, and retail prices start at $2,400.
