Christopher Designs has appointed Lindsay Priest as vice president of sales, East Coast, and Mary Marr-Belcher as vice president of sales, Southern states.
Priest spent nearly 20 years at Verragio, where she served as director of marketing and, most recently, director of business development. Her team at Verragio grew accounts by more than 25 percent annually.
Marr-Belcher has 12 years of experience in sales, merchandising, and business development at both retailers and manufacturers. Most recently, she was director of sales for Christian Bauer, where she oversaw training programs and troubleshooting initiatives in addition to sales. Prior to Christian Bauer, Marr-Belcher held key industry positions at Verragio, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Reis-Nichols.
In October, the company hired Ann Kim as vice president of sales, West Coast region. Kim joins several other recent hires from the New York City–based company, which was founded by designer Christopher Slowinski.
In a statement, president and CEO Slowinski said that he was “thrilled” about the new hires, noting “the East Coast and Southern states have great potential for growth.”
