Diamond Foundry has another collaboration in the works, and this time the San Francisco–based lab-grown diamond purveyor has tapped London-based designer Anabela Chan, who is well-known for her work with lab-grown gemstones. This is a collection worth writing about for its sheer beauty; the line comprises three pieces inspired by an English garden.
There is a gorgeous, large cocktail ring that looks like its blossoming on its wearer. Aptly called the Bloom ring, the piece features blooms and butterflies handcrafted in 18k white gold and set with 184 Diamond Foundry lab-grown diamonds. The diamond Orchid earrings are also handcrafted in 18k white gold and set with 349 lab-grown diamonds. And, lastly, the diamond vine earrings, inspired by the blossoming of spring, are also made in 18k white gold and set with 144 lab-grown diamonds.
All the designs are hand-carved in wax before casting. Every stone is carefully selected for its quality, then cut, faceted, polished, and set using traditional artisanal techniques. “It is about offering truly sustainable and ethical jewels that are inspiring and beautifully crafted with the highest level of haute joaillerie craftsmanship,” said Anabela Chan, who has a background in architecture, fashion, and art and counts Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift as fans. “These works of art can be worn, loved, and treasured forever.”
“We were excited to partner with Anabela Chan, who is known for her fine jewelry pieces and passion for conflict-free gemstones,” said Mona Sadat Akhavi, vice president of marketing at Diamond Foundry. “This has been an amazing collaboration to showcase both sustainable luxury and unique craftsmanship.”
