The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) has appointed Erich K. Jacobs (pictured) as its vice president of technology.
Jacobs has 20 years of technology, operational, and financial experience. He joins JBT from OnKöl, where he was chief executive and chief technology officer. There he created and launched an entirely new type of health care solution, which used custom hardware and software to help the elderly live independently.
Prior to that he was the senior vice president of global software services at Insight, a global technology solutions provider.
In March. Richard Weisenfeld was appointed president of the credit reporting group.
