Going big never goes out of style
February is a month filled with special occasions in the entertainment world and, in turn, lots of rings. You’ve got the Super Bowl and Super Bowl rings. And then you’ve got a handful of awards shows, most famously the Grammy and Academy awards, and those are events in which we really hope to see rings—and lots of them. So where am I going with this? What we’re wearing on our fingers becomes top of mind, and if there’s ever a perfect time to fall in love with cocktail rings again (not that we ever fell out), it’s now. We’ve been seeing a lot of stacking rings and different variations on the full-finger or multi-finger pieces, but the good old cocktail ring has always stood out—a fixture in one’s jewelry box, if not for every day wear, then at least for big moments (or, like, Fridays).
