Fine jewelry manufacturer and retailer Bergio International, which operates a store in Closter, N.J., will open a second retail location this fall, at the new Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.
This is the second established New Jersey–based jeweler to announce plans to open in a newly renovated (and branded) casino property in Atlantic City this year. Somer’s Point, N.J., retailer Bernie Robbins Jewelers announced in May that it will open its fifth location inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, currently under renovation, in the slowly gentrifying shore town.
Bergio expects to open its store inside the Ocean Resort Casino, which was formerly the Revel Casino Hotel, in November. The property is currently undergoing a $500 million renovation.
Berge Abajian (pictured), CEO of Bergio International, said in a statement that was released this morning, “We have finalized the deal this morning, and I am very excited to expand into the new Ocean Resort Casino with a very friendly management and ownership.” Ocean Resort and Casino’s “professionalism,” he noted, “made us very comfortable to move forward…. I feel very optimistic in this new expansion opportunity.”
Bergio International Inc. sells its jewelry to approximately 50 jewelry retailers across the United States.
