Fine, I know the royal wedding isn’t till Saturday morning (7 a.m. EDT; PBS coverage starts at 4 a.m.), but the run-up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials has me blasting the Black-Eyed Peas (as per this wedding video), collecting commemorative plates, and daydreaming about the wedding jewelry that the groom and his bride will be wearing.
If you share my enthusiasm, you may be fielding invitations to a number of viewing parties or even hosting one of your own.
But what does one wear to such an event? For me it would probably be a combination of silky pajamas, Meghan Markle–approved slippers, and some carefully chosen bling. Preferably in the form of a diamond tiara.
But I’d gladly settle for, say, Eva Fehren’s exquisite Sovereign ring, or one of Karen Karch’s eternally chic tiara stackers, a classic since, well, at least since Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones. (I worked at The Knot then. Yep, I was around for that one. Charles and Diana, too.)
