The thing that led me to searching for more rainbow jewelry will take us out on a limb just a bit. It wasn’t a fashion show, nor a trend spotted while shopping online (as I so often do). It wasn’t the desire for spring and summer color—though that desire is indeed satiated by the presence of these jewels—and it wasn’t because I recently wrote a blog post about curating a pastel rainbow (read it
here, if you’d like). No, what got me thinking about rainbow jewelry was found in the spice aisle at Trader Joe’s: the Everything seasoning blend.

First, I noticed it an unignorable number of Instagram stories. It seems like a great many people I follow have become smitten with the seasoning, and they put it on everything. Then, Food52 starting putting out a series of recipes featuring the spice blend (for those interested, Food52’s “13 Things to Give the Everything Bagel Treatment” can be read here).
So one must assume that everything is clearly trending. But does it have to end on a bagel (or some variation)? No way. To enjoy an everything that is truly nonperishable, look no further than rainbow jewelry. It has it all, doesn’t it? A mix of all the best spices—colors—sprinkled upon a scrumptious finished design, ready to wear and enjoy for much longer than it takes to digest breakfast (because it’ll last forever).
