Fine jewelry stores have always celebrated clients who are happily coupled. But Albert’s Diamond Jewelers in Schererville, Ind., has been hosting a regular event that toasts the uncoupled client.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Albert’s owners, Fred and Josh Halpern, have been opening up their space for speed dating events run by local resident Donna Renee Patikas, founder of NWI Speed Dating.
“No one would think to have an event like this at the largest jewelry store in northwest Indiana,” Patikas told the news outlet. “After talking with the owners, we decided this would be a great venue for me.”
