Signet Jewelers has been named a component of the FTSE4Good U.S. and global indexes.
The 15-year-old FTSE4Good index tracks publicly traded companies that “[meet] specific thresholds in relation to environmental, social, and governance practices,” according to its producer, FTSE Russell.
In a statement, Signet said it was “proud” to join the index, and added that “we firmly believe that corporate social responsibility makes our business stronger and more sustainable over the long term.”
