J.C. Penney has hired Jeffrey Davis as its executive vice president and chief financial officer.
He succeeds Andrew Drexler, who has been serving as interim CFO following the resignation of Edward Record.
Davis most recently served as CFO for Darden Restaurants, and before that as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Walmart’s U.S. stores.
