PGI USA Celebrates 25 Years
Platinum Guild International (PGI) recently celebrated an anniversary, marking 25 years since the organization expanded to the U.S., launching new initiatives to mark the milestone.
Its popular Platinum Edition Catalog, featuring “images of some of the world’s most celebrated designers’ beautiful platinum jewelry creations,” was republished in a 25th-anniversary-issue edition, with hard copies being sent to retailers and an online version available. In addition, PGI USA has unveiled a new online training program for sales associates and launched a new website, showcasing platinum jewelry and offering consumer education.
The organization is said to be launching an initiative to educate the industry and its consumers about the importance of setting their diamonds and gemstones in platinum—details of which are to come.
