HANNOUSH MOVES INTO NORTHEAST
Hannoush Jewelers, which operates 36 stores in five Northeast states, now has six owner-operated franchise locations in Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut. All are fully established and operational, says a spokesman for the company, which is headquartered in West Springfield, Mass.
The company operated its first franchise in mid-1995. The program includes a full menu of inventory sources and support services, including site selection assistance in major cities. Hannoush Jewelers, a family-owned company, opened in 1980.
ANNIVERSARY
Jabel Inc., a jewelry manufacturer in Irvington, N.J., celebrated its 80th year in business in December. The company has made Add-a-Section© bracelets for 40 years and specializes in chains and rings.
RELOCATION
Romancing the Stone relocated in December to 133 W. San Francisco St., Santa Fe, N.M. The new location will incorporate jewelry designer Danuta Zalusky Bordnick’s jewelry store, design studio and art gallery. Phone and fax numbers have remained the same.
CLOSING
Fountain’s Fine Jewelry in Memphis, Tenn., held a going out of business sale at the end of December.
