VISION AWARDS DEADLINE IS SET
Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America has set a deadline of Jan. 7 for entries in the ninth annual American Vision Award competition. The awards recognize innovative designers who influence jewelry trends.
First-place, second-place, and honorable-mention awards will be given in each of two categories, professional and student. MJSA Guild members, independent designers not employed full-time by a manufacturer, and students enrolled in an art- or design-related program are eligible. Professional entries must be slides of finished jewelry. Students should submit completed renderings of jewelry. Entrants in both categories must use precious metals, either with or without gemstones.
First-place winners will receive a trophy and a $500 prize. Second-place and honorable-mention winners will receive a plaque. Awards will be presented at MJSA’s Expo New York, March 5-7.
