These days, keeping up with all the changes at De Beers can be enough to make you dizzy. Recently, the company announced yet another shift: retailoring its sight boxes so it can be more specific about its sightholders’ requests.
Several categories of sight boxes have been eliminated and replaced with narrower categories.
“This is in line with our desire to give sightholders a more focused assortment in line with our supplier-of-choice announcement,” says spokesman Andrew Lamont. “The desire is to put the right goods in the right hands, as efficiently as possible.”
