The necklace worn by First Lady Laura Bush during this year’s inaugural balls in January (Fashion Facets, JCK, April 2001, p. 62) was manufactured by A. Link, New York, and provided to her by Vickie Roan, owner of The Menagerie in Austin, Texas. The piece was a 3-prong, graduated platinum necklace with 110 round diamonds, with a total of 16.09 cts., according to Jeffrey Link, of A. Link.
