H. Stern Jewelers, the international retail jewelry firm, and Cole Haan, known for luxury footwear and accessories, have each announced new watch lines. The watches will be sold only in their stores.
H. Stern, headquartered in Brazil with 150 stores in 14 countries, has launched “Sfera,” a line of Swiss-made ergonomic stainless steel watches. It offers 29 models for men and women, including chronographs and diamond watches. The retail prices range form $1,300 to $24,700.
Cole Haan, headquartered in Yarmouth, Me., has contracted Fossil Inc., based in Richardson, Tex., to develop and manufacture a full line of men’s and women’s watches bearing the Cole Haan name. The line will feature eight to 10 men’s and women’s styles, with prices ranging from $200 to $400. The watches will debut in summer 2002 and be initially sold only in Cole Han stores.
