She has been named vice president of sales
Maui Divers Jewelry has named Savina Makalena (pictured) vice president of sales.
She will oversee the company’s 39 retail locations as well as e-commerce, training, and customer services.
Makalena previously worked for Maui Divers Jewelry from 1999 to 2006. She began as a sales associate and was vice president of retail sales when she left in 2006. She was most recently the executive vice president at Martin & MacArthur, a watch, accessories, and furniture company.
“We’re so pleased to welcome Savy back to the Maui Divers Jewelry family,” said president and CEO Bob Taylor. “Her knowledge of the company and our products, combined with her proven sales experience and positive management style, made her the ideal candidate for this position.”
