With the ICA Congress declared a great success, it’s time to reveal the winning submission to the second international poster competition. The winner is Denish Malpani, director of Gems Export Centre, Jaipur, for his poster entitled “Life is not always black & white or gray.” Malpani’s poster was chosen out of almost 70 posters from 10 countries.

First-place honors included a cash prize of $500, a year’s subscription to Jewelry News Asia (including an editorial article), and a full-page cover in the ICA Gazette.

Prize money was donated by Roland Naftule, first president of ICA (1984-1989) and owner of Nafco Gems Limited, Scottsdale, Ariz.
