Keith Norris of K. Norris Jewelers, Riverside, Calif., has been elected president of the California Jewelers Association for 2003. He succeeds Peter Hess of Snyder & Snyder Jewelers, San Juan Capistrano. Norris has spent more than 30 years in the jewelry industry and has operated K. Norris Jewelers since 1990. He’s on the board of directors of the 24 Karat Club of Southern California and is a member of Jewelers of America and Jewelers Vigilance Committee.
Other officers elected include James Hartstein, Jewels by Joseph, Newport Beach, president-elect; Mike Maralian, Dejaun Jewelers, Los Angeles, first vice president; Robert Marks, Rogers Jewelry Co., Modesto, second vice president; and Allen Kessler, Kessler Jewelers, Burbank, treasurer.
