On May 2, 2003, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York issued an Order and Judgment in Asch/Grossbardt Inc.’s favor, enjoining a direct jewelry manufacturing competitor from making, selling, offering for sale, and delivering to customers inlaid jewelry style designs which were substantially copied from Asch/Grossbardt Inc.’s styles.
The company says it intends to continue to assert its rights under the intellectual property laws of the United States, including copyright, trademark, and trade dress laws.
