The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) has named Ulla Wolff to the newly created position of assistant general counsel. Wolff will participate in all aspects of JVC’s programs, most prominently in JVC’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Services. She will also administer the JVC Precious Metals Testing Facility.
Wolff served as a district attorney in her native Austria after graduating from the University of Vienna School of Law. She earned an LL.M. degree at New York University School of Law in 2003 and sat for the New York State Bar Exam in July. In addition, Wolff is a graduate gemologist who received a G.G. degree from Gemological Institute of America in July 2002. Wolff began interning with JVC in fall 2002.
