The Jewelry Information Center has for the first time recognized a member of the trade press as “Trade Press Editor of the Year.” The award was presented to Hedda Schupak, editor-in-chief of Jewelers’ Circular Keystone magazine, during JIC’s special luncheon for the trade press. “Hedda personifies this award,” said John Green of Lux, Bond and Green, chairman of the board of JIC. “Her professionalism and dedication to her position and the industry put her in front of the pack. Hedda is an ardent supporter of the JIC, and we greatly appreciate all of her support. This is just a small token of our thanks.”
On accepting her award, Schupak said JCK‘s mission, first and foremost, is to provide objective, valuable, necessary information.”Our editors and our business staff both work very hard to provide the best-quality products we can, and it’s a great honor to have our efforts recognized and lauded by the industry,” Schupak said.”It’s also a great honor to be recognized personally by the JIC, an organization whose goals I strongly support.”
