Wolf Designs, a leather accessories design house, has settled its dispute with Target Corporation over what it says is impermissible use of its patented product. The litigation centered on the company’s patented lizard textured leather jewelry case with two removable trays and traveler jewelry box design from its South Molton collection that typically retails for $135.
The matter was resolved in accordance with the following terms: Target Corporation’s supplier paid an undisclosed sum to Wolf Designs, and both Target and its supplier agreed to respect Wolf’s patent rights.
