TRAX, a software company based in Houston, has developed two software products for retailers.
TraxSales software analyzes showroom floor information. Using a remote traffic sensor, it automatically counts traffic entering a store on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis, separating customer from non-customer traffic.
TraxSales Management software logs in salespersons each morning and places them on an automated up board, which establishes an up rotation. It also tracks each salesperson’s performance in several different ways and provides detailed reports.
In addition, the software breaks down value per opportunity, advertising value per opportunity, average sale, average time spent with customers, closing ratio, missed opportunities, reasons for not buying, and product sale by category. The system operates as a contact manager, tracking customer information for demographic analysis and database management.
The system also prints daily “to do” lists for managers and salespeople. It allows reminders to be set (such as birthdays, anniversaries, call-back dates, etc.) and automatically prints birthday cards, special invitations, etc.
